A few hot weekends ago it was hot here in Los Angeles. It was balmy, sticky, sweaty and sultry. But the temperature outside was only about 80 degrees, however inside Erotica L.A. things were boiling over. The L.A. Convention Center hosted Erotica L.A. -- the world's largest erotic exposition with more than 300 booths visited by more than 40,000 fans.

I know, I know. I'm sorry we've been slow on the update. And I also apologize in advance for not bringing you any nude pics from the stage shows or any wide shots from the expo floor. I don't have any wide shots because I've never had the chance to take so many pictures of porn stars before and a lot of them wanted to say hi. It was kind of a social event for everyone.

If a lot of the women at the convention looked like music video vixens, that was no accident because they looked the part and couldn't get away from their fans. For the first time at the convention a rock-and-roll tie-in "The Sexopolis Rock Arena" was added. Wherever we looked we saw men whispering into women's ears. Which is kinda funny since the convention isn't at all loud.

Thousands of models were on hand including Brit import and former Penthouse Pet Taylor Wane showing off some of the ample assets that have made her an erotica legend for 18 years. This babe had some of the prettiest eyes we have ever seen. Not that we can recall the color at this time. But we are pretty sure she had two of them. We tried getting close to some big-titted models to ask them a few questions but it was impossible. No, seriously... you couldn't get close.

Another was ever-popular Belladonna. You'd never know that under all the eyeliner and tattoos was a sweetheart of a girl. (Sorry to ruin it for you Bell!) Her latest video, "Belladonna's Girl Train." How nice is she? While other porn stars came to the convention to sell their products, Belladonna was giving hers away. Why? "My fans have given me so much," she smiled, "this is my way of giving back to them." Erotica L.A. brought together adult entertainers, live performers and an array of venders.

How is this for planning ahead? The LA Erotica Convention has already announced dates for next year and we were relieved to hear that the June 12-14 2009 dates will not conflict with Lebowski Bash.
